Ft. Lauderdale bar used in “Rock of Ages” filming sold

The Fort Lauderdale nightclub used in the filming of 2012 box office flop “Rock of Ages” was one of six properties acquired by major Chicago-based investors Greg Berkowitz and Louis Wolf. Berkowitz and Wolf picked up the 14,778-square-foot Revolution Live at 100 Southwest Third Avenue as part of a $9.1 million transaction recorded on Thursday. “Rock of Ages” director Adam Shankmanto filmed numerous scenes at the venue, which frequently hosts concerts.
